Foto Friday!

History Repeats Itself
A century ago, Henry Huntington and his Pacific Electric Railway started building an inter-urban system that connected Arcadia/Monrovia to San Bernardino, via Glendora, Covina and Pomona.
Coincidentally, the MTA Gold Line Foothill Extension is now trying to accomplish the same feat with a route set to run from Pasadena through Arcadia to Montclair with stops in Glendora, Azusa and Pomona.  The more things change, the more they stay the same!
Hang in there while all this construction continues, it will be worth it in the end.
