On this day in history...

On December 7, 1941 Japanese warplanes attacked the home base of the U.S. Pacific fleet at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, drawing the United States into World War II. More than 2,300 Americans were killed. As President Franklin D. Roosevelt stated: “December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy.”

The Library has a variety of books and/or DVDs which examine the tragedy that occurred 71 years ago. Follow this link to see what’s available.
