Are You Ready To Celebrate Summer @ The Arcadia Public Library

Guess what? It's almost that time of year! For those of you who've never heard of the annual Summer Reading Program, let's bring you up to speed. The Arcadia Public Library offers special programs, events and incentives designed to get the whole family excited about reading and this summer is no exception.

Just for Kids
Beginning June 14, children can sign up to Make A Splash @ the Arcadia Public Library. Rewarded for participating, children receive a variety of weekly incentives and the chance to win even more great prizes based on the number of hours they spend reading each week.

Children can start making this a memorable summer by entering our annual SRP Bookmark contest currently going on in the Children's Room. Or download forms directly from our website. Entries are due by April 17.

Teens aren't left out of the fun when they sign up for the reading program created exclusively for them. They'll also have the chance to earn prizes and incentives all summer long just for reading and participating.

There are also opportunities for teens to earn community service hours by volunteering to help out in the Children's Room. Check our website or come in the Library for more information. Applications available beginning Monday, March 29.

Get Ready to Water Your Mind
Why should the kids have all the fun? Adults can join in the fun as they register to share opinions about their summer reading and be entered in drawings for great prizes. It's a opportunity to hear about books and authors you may not know.
