Adult Summer Reading Program

This summer, get in touch with your creative side! "Master the Art of Reading" during the Arcadia Public Library's first ever adult summer reading program! Program participants will be eligible for sign-up incentives and biweekly prizes, and there will be a showing of The Da Vinci Code, starring Tom Hanks. Registration starts June 14th, and the program will run until August 1st. Open to adults 18 years and older.

Author Event

On March 18, 2009 at 7:00 p.m., the Friends of the Library will be hosting prize winning author Merrill Joan Gerber. Author of seven novels and numerous short stories, Ms. Gerber teaches fiction writing at Caltech. No reservations are necessary for this free program, which will take place in the Library’s Cay Mortenson Auditorium. Refreshments will be served.

eBooks!

eBooks are now available at the Arcadia Public Library! eBooks are full-text, electronic versions of published books that library users can search, borrow, and read via the Internet. Our current ebook holdings consist of an up-to-date collection of Nolo books, as well as other selected consumer legal materials. There are over 200 titles that patrons can read anytime, anywhere. You will need to enter your library card number in order to access the collection outside of the library.
