Russ Parsons to Speak

Be sure not to miss this opportunity to hear Russ Parsons, food columnist of the Los Angeles Times, when he speaks at the Library on Wednesday, March 26, at 7 p.m. He will talk about “The Secret History of Farmers Markets”.

Mr. Parsons has won numerous awards and is the author of "How to Pick a Peach", which was named one of the best 100 books of 2007 by both Publisher’s Weekly and Amazon. An earlier publication,“How to Read a French Fry”, was a finalist for two Julia Child cookbook awards. No reservations are necessary for this free program sponsored by The Friends of the Library. Refreshments will be served.
